LOOKING FOR IDEAS ON HOW TO IMPLEMENT THIS EVENT AT YOUR SCHOOL?
The ME Virtual Career Fair Planning Team has worked hard to design an event that schools can interact with in a variety of ways based on their school schedule, dynamics, size of student body, resources, etc. We want to ensure that ALL Maine students at middle schools, high schools and CTE centers across the state have the ability to access this event.
Below are just a few ideas of ways that schools can design their participation in the ME Virtual Career Fair. This is not a comprehensive list, but meant to serve as examples. If you would like support finding an appropriate option for your school, please contact us We can brainstorm implementation plans.

Suggestions for embedding the event into your classes
1. Purchasing registrations for each classroom within your building so that students are watching a session(s) as a whole classroom group.
3. Purchasing registrations for individual students and asking English teachers to embed a classroom lesson/assignment based on what the students learn to add "teeth" and context to what the students experience at the career session(s) they attend. See our Curriculum Resources page for assignment ideas!
4. Allowing access to individual students based on interest:
1. Purchasing registrations for each classroom within your building so that students are watching a session(s) as a whole classroom group.
- This could be spread throughout the week (i.e. Monday, block 1, class watches a keynote video - Tuesday, block 2, class watches career session(s) - Wednesday, block 3, class watches career session(s) - Thursday block 4, class utilizes our curriculum resources to follow up and complete career research based on what they've learned. Friday block 5, students can work on essay and design contest. This could also happen on one day of the event and take place in all classes that day.

4. Allowing access to individual students based on interest:
- For example: Surveying students to determine interest and providing interested students with their own registration to be able to attend any and all sessions that interest them that week.
