We invite you to join this event as a business-based speaker!

Business Interest Form
Hosted by:
Maine C3
Week Of:
May 17 - 21
In Partnership with:
ACTEM and Educate Maine
We are proud and excited to invite you to participate in Maine’s First Virtual Career Fair.  In person career fairs have become signature events for many Maine high schools connecting tomorrow's workforce with employers like you. This year we are aiming to create one high school career fair and make it available to all Maine High Schools and continue the tradition of exemplifying business-education partnerships at their best.

The Virtual Career Fair’s primary focus is to introduce students to Maine businesses that represent a variety of careers and professions that are available to them.  We are planning to offer numerous 30 minute sessions in the form of live speaker talks with Q&A throughout the week, both during the school day and into evening hours and will feature businesses and organizations from varying industry clusters across the state. You can visit www.mevirtualcareerfair.org for more information.

If you are interested in participating in this event please RSVP here and we will contact you with more detail in the near future.  Your commitment would include speaking to 9th-12th grade students for 30 minutes with ~15-20 minutes for a presentation and ~10-15 minutes for Q&A. An educator will be present  in each session to serve as moderator and to monitor/supervise the students. We are hoping you’ll be able to cover the following topics:

- Tell us about your job
- How you got there
- About the company and other types of positions that help your company run.
- How students can access more information about your company/field

We will contact you with available session time slots after we receive our RSVP list.

We are happy to answer any questions you may have about the event, your participation, etc. These opportunities are truly invaluable and we hope you will participate.  Please email us your questions at:  mevirtualcareerfair@gmail.com.
