We are proud and excited to invite you to participate in the Maine Virtual Career Fair!  Maine’s C3 (Community Coordinators Collaborative) in partnership with the Maine Department of Education and Association of Computer and Technology Educators (ACTEM) will be hosting its second annual statewide Virtual Career Fair on March 21 - 25, 2022.

Last spring, C3 hosted a successful inaugural event connecting thousands of high school students with more than 100 Maine companies, entrepreneurs, and nonprofits.  This event was designed to provide students with important business connections regardless of their geographic location and create equitable opportunities for students to explore numerous career offerings throughout the state.  This year, ME Virtual Career Fair will be open to ALL middle schools as well as high schools and CTE schools throughout the state.

The Virtual Career Fair’s primary focus is to introduce students to Maine businesses representing a variety of careers and professions available in the state.  The event includes numerous 30-minute live presentations followed by a moderated Q&A period from 8:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. on March 22 & 23.  We will again be offering the virtual career fair on the Hopin platform to continue the tradition of exemplifying business-education partnerships at their best.

If you are interested in participating in this event, please complete the short registration form.  Participation involves hosting a live virtual session with Maine high school and middle school students including a 15-20 minute presentation followed by 10-15 minutes for Q&A.
An educator will be present in each session to serve as a moderator. Due to confidentiality, students and classes participating will not be seen on the virtual platform.

We are hoping you’ll be able to cover the following topics:
Tell us about yourself, your profession & career path
Connect the educational experiences students might be learning now towards a future job opportunity
Describe your company and other positions within the organization
Tell students how they can access more information about your company/field

As soon as you submit a completed application we will email you a sign up form to pick a session, date, and time.
These opportunities are truly invaluable to students and we hope you will be able to participate.
